Interfaces

On this course, you will learn how an existing Enterprise Resource Planning system can be connected to LFS and what interfaces are available. What data exchange options are available with the existing interfaces of both systems and what changes do I have to make? The course deals specifically with how to prepare the system most effectively for a smooth changeover to LFS. Using the data flow between the systems and practical examples, you will learn about the information that is relevant for a connection and the important fields in the interface files. What jobs are used for data transfer and how are they controlled on the LFS side? Other topics include configuring the remote connection and data provision for the host system, creating posting keys for the feedback messages, and error handling in LFS. This course does not cover connecting the ERP from SAP. A separate course is offered for the SAP ERP.
